We recognise that the industry needs transport to reach our beloved paddlers and favourite locations. We enjoy and will continue to work with specialist transporters and industry partners to transport our skis across Australia. We have no dramas working with any qualified transporters so please get in touch if you'd like to form part of the network solution for transport.....
As we offer an existing transport service for Epic surfskis & kayaks from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast, we are trialling the extension of this as a fully insured transport service whenever we complete a run.
ALL CRAFT are welcome; surfskis, kayaks, spec skis, stand up paddle boards and single outriggers - our limitation is really our trailer set up for high end skis so if unsure, please get in touch. If we can't help you (or if we aren't the most cost effective solution for your particular requirement/craft, we will happily suggest some of our partners who run similar Australian owned small businesses - we are all just trying our best)!
ALL BRANDS ARE WELCOME - our service objectives are to; help paddlers around Australia, keep our industry healthy, make sure our treasured craft reach their destination safely, see our beautiful country, paddle with awesome people and to pay a few diesel bills along the way :)
We shall be developing a terms and conditions for this service - this is new as at May 2026 (although we have delivered many Epic surfskis over the years) so for now, any questions, please email australia@epickayaks.com.au or phone 0413135140. The main 't's and c's in beta mode are as follows:
• cancellations of transport bookings will be refunded with a $50 admin fee. Cancellations of premium services (additional services or local Sydney runs) will also be refunded with a $25 admin fee
• the customer accepts the inherent risk of damage with transport of this type - Epic Kayaks Australia shall inspect every craft transported and we shall reserve the right to cancel a booking should damage be apparent without the recipient's acceptance PRIOR to transport
• ultimately, the sender and recipient both acknowledge the risk of transportation. Epic Kayaks Australia will not accept any responsibility for the condition of the craft - or get involved in 2nd hand transactions during transportation. The condition of the ski for 2nd hand sales transactions not brokered by us is completely outside of our control
• timing - transportation runs shall be at the sole discretion of Epic Kayaks Australia. Customers are advised to join Epic Kayaks Australia's facebook page for future transport runs - these will be on an ad-hoc 'needs' basis until scheduling can commence. If transport companies take over this offering, we will also gladly reduce our schedule - we genuinely just want skis/kayaks moving around the country
• all rudders to be removed prior to transport. These can be placed on or in the craft ONLY if secured as your craft may be transported upside down and responsibility cannot be accepted for loose articles
• we recommend covers be used for all craft
• timings - for all premium/additional services - skis shall be picked up and/or delivered based on the timings provided by Epic Kayaks Australia. Cancellations are possible should these timings not be acceptable, as per our cancellation policy above
• a more detailed terms and conditions shall be developed as this organically grows, depending on demand from the industry.
